
A refreshing break from the norm – full-flavoured craft beer without the booze.

Coastal Brewing Co. approached me to design their new line of non-alcoholic beers under the brand "Dalman St." The challenge was to create a refreshing and full-flavoured craft beer experience with minimal alcohol content.
The brewery provided the name "Dalman St," coinciding with the location of their premises, and expressed a preference for a clean and minimal can design. The guiding insight addressed the perception that some non-alcoholic beers lack the full flavour of craft beer. The goal was to showcase Dalman St as a non-alcoholic craft beer with robust flavour.
Centred around the theme of 'full flavour,' I designed the identity with a hop illustration forming the shape of a 'D' as the focal point. The use of bold letter forms complemented the graphic, and a monospaced font provided a contrast to typeset the details. The result was a simple yet impactful design.
This project marked my debut in beer packaging design, and I'm particularly pleased with the simplicity and effectiveness of the final product. Dalman St is launching in mid-2024, and I invite you to grab a case to experience the crafted taste for yourself, minus the hangover.
